Living in Colour: Life After Abortion

The 8 week two hour per week course offers a compassionate space for women who have experienced abortion to process grief, find healing, and reconnect with hope. Through prayer, music, and guided reflection, participants begin the journey from grey to colour. Once you fill out the form below, our program facilitator will personally reach out to arrange your session.

When I first heard that there would be a course offered within the church that would offer healing to women who have experienced abortions, I was blown away. It’s the most Christ-like thing I had ever heard of. I didn’t think healing was something I needed. When I got baptized I told God this was something I was leaving behind in my past life and knew that I was forgiven by Him. But what I didn’t realize was that I never forgave myself. Being able to experience the grief that was suppressed and then release it all to live a life in colour was extremely healing. This course actually really helped me with understanding grief of losing my brother at age 13 as well. I am so grateful for Patricia and her ability to provide comfort and understanding while also asking challenging questions which force you to dig deeper and really pull out those long roots. She always said “what’s buried alive never dies” and that has helped me to face feelings I had been ignoring for years but opened the door to so much healing. I would recommend this course to anyone who has experienced an abortion, God wants us to live life and live it to its fullest.
